Position Overview

The Lab Technician will be responsible for performing routine laboratory tests and procedures for medical diagnostics or quality control. The role involves preparing samples, operating lab equipment, maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine laboratory tests and experiments under the supervision of senior staff.
  • Prepare and process samples for analysis using appropriate techniques and equipment.
  • Operate, calibrate and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment.
  • Record and analyze test results, ensuring accuracy and compliance with protocols.
  • Follow strict safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized lab environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, Medical Technology or a related field.
  • Proven experience working in a laboratory setting.
